The Owners of this magnificently appointed three-level, 4 bed, 3½ bathroom custom built family home had a simple design brief; they wanted a high quality, low maintenance, functional home, providing generous space for their family.

The Owners of this magnificently appointed three-level, 4 bed, 3½ bathroom custom built family home had a simple design brief; they wanted a high quality, low maintenance, functional home, providing generous space for their family.

To take advantage of the views from this home, the first-floor open living area (living room, dining room, and kitchen), has custom-made aluminium stacking doors which open to the alfresco deck. The property boasts a sparkling pool at the rear, and a rooftop terrace boasting spectacular views over Geographe Bay. The roof terrace includes a spa, alfresco shower/steam room, W.C, and entertaining deck with shuttered kitchenette. Mindful of “access” to all areas of the property, our clients requested an internal lift from the ground floor, through to the rooftop terrace.

For comfort over Winter and serviceability, hydronically heated, oyster white polished concrete was selected for the ground floor and suspended first floor slabs, with the latest technologically advanced Steibel Eltron heat pump being incorporated. Ducted air conditioning, and a Jetmaster open fire to the living area, make for ambient natural warmth. The house is further insulated with double-glazed windows throughout.

The quality finishes include custom-made walnut cabinetry throughout, fully tiled bathrooms including a travertine master ensuite, walk-in robe to the master, and built-in robes in the minor bedrooms.

Specifics important to the Owners, included the latest Sunpower solar panels and Fronius lithium battery storage and inverter, to ensure the continuum of the client’s global business operated from the home office. This backs up any mains power failures 24/7.

Communications throughout the house include Security cameras, intercoms, entry door, and side gate automation, automated block-out blinds, internal and external blue tooth audio system have been installed.

One late design brief to be included in construction was 100% of the water entering the property was to be fed through an Aqua-Guard water filtration system.
